Fees and ChargesUnlike many other fund managers, Athena Capital do not charge an annual management charge to our clients. Performance FeeAs is common with most investment funds of this type, Athena Capital charge clients solely based upon the performance of the trading account. This means that if the investor does not see an increase in his investment, then Athena Capital will not profit either. Athena Capital will retain a Performance Fee of 25% – ie. a 25% share of the profits earned on the investment, subject to a 'high watermark' (as defined below). High Watermark CalculationThe implementation of a 'high watermark' means that Athena Capital will only receive a Performance Fee when the value of a client's investment is greater than its previous greatest value. Should the value of the investment subsequently drop in value then Athena Capital will only receive a Performance Fee again once the value of the investment has once again reached it's greatest value. |
